Aquarian

Where is Aquarius in your natal chart? Which house does it rule (and any planets contained therein)?

Aquarius is the 11th sign in the Zodiac and is of fixed mode and of the air element, ruled traditionally by Saturn and in modern astrology is ruled by Uranus.

Aquarius energy inspires us to look to the future, to think not of ourselves but of the collective. In Aquarius we think of the group. Our friends, our community and the world at large. In particular, under Aquarius, we tend to think of ways we can make things better, make circumstances better, improve the human, natural, social condition.

Aquarius is also the future. Under an Aquarian influence we look ahead and quite often, invent. We brainstorm, we create, we collaborate and design a new future with others.

Aquarius is where we disregard a heavy emotional influence and radically dare to be ourselves, unapologetically. We are different and like to break out of the mold under Aquarian energy.

So, thinking of all of this ^, look at your natal chart and find Aquarius. What house has Aquarius on the cusp? There, that area of life will generally be expressed in an Aquarian manner. Any planets within that same house? they will do the Aquarian bidding.

A brief run of Aquarius through the houses –
1H – A unique style, trend setter, personality who has the will to be weird, better said – the will to not compromise and be someone they are not. We will be exactly who we are, and people who know us find us as steadfast (Fixed) intellectuals they can rely on and be themselves with.
2H – A different way of earning, or managing finances. Value systems are unlike others. 2H rules our moveable assets (our things). Under Aquarius we may not have attachments to material things, or if we do – they are likely things that are purposeful/can be used to help improve the future
3H – We are brilliant, have great ideas and have different ways of learning than others. Here, we are likely super smart and easily remember anything we learn.
4H – our home and family is different than others. Maybe we grew up living with our grandparents, or in a mobile home. We may be a family differently than other people form families.
5H – for fun, we may enjoy social activities in groups such as volunteering, group exercises, and inventing things. We may find that we are not emotionally attached easily and may engage in multiple “flings” or adventurous ….ahem… adult adventures.
6H – we love animals. like, head over heels we are all about helping out the animals, the less fortunate, the proverbial little guy. We may not be so crazy about doing daily chores and daily routines, but we will have great ideas on how to help make the world a better place for those we feel are not being taken care of properly.
7H – we have a different approach to relationships than other people. maybe we don’t “settle down”, maybe we have multiple relationships at the same time and maybe we ride out the journey as a hermit. With Aquarius in this house we are not emotionally attached and with our head in the future, we likely partner easily with others who can see the future too.
8H – we have a different perspective on the occult/mystical/death than others. Maybe we don’t believe in it, maybe we believe in it but are aloof to it. Either way, we do it our own unique way and disregard the opinions of others.
9H – we publish our inventions, we make our dreams a documented reality, we likely find organized religion not to our liking and dream of the future and what they may hold. We likely naturally find artificial intelligence, robotics and the like quite appealing in this house of god.
10H – our career and public life is all about progressiveness. We seek to carry others along as we bring in the future. We improve the social condition and are widely known for making the world a better place. We don’t easily succumb to the opinions of others and as a result, generally more easily work our way into the career field we seek.
11H – this is where Aquarians shine best. Here, in the house of social groups and saving the world – we really make things happen. Here, we are social creatures to the T and really have an impact on the social condition.
12H – we do the subconscious like no one else. Here, we approach our inner life uniquely and find that our understanding of the Universe is vastly different than our peers. We think in future terms of how we can bring our subconscious into the future and progressively develop our general understanding of the meaning of life.
