Tomorrow evening, a quicksilvering begins under the New Moon at 8 degrees Aquarius. Aquarius, an air sign (communication/intelligence) is referred to as the water-bearer. In this sign of progressively looking forward, inventing and detaching from emotions we usher in the path to the next month of eclipses – the full moon on 2/11, which is a Lunar Eclipse at 22 degrees Leo and the following new moon on 2/26 which is a Solar Eclipse at 8 degrees Pisces.
…As the term implies, …eclipses are dynamic events and often accelerate pathways in and out…
Also adding to the acceleration over the next few days, Mars leaves his currently water-logged stay in Pisces and breaks free out into his homeland of Aries. Here, Mars can best be himself…the warrior, aggressor, pioneer. Mars in Aries makes things happen.
However shortly after, Venus too follows into Aries. While in the ever-changing tide of Pisces, Venus is generally strong and well-treated. However for most of her time in Pisces during this transit, Venus has been squared by the restrictive and authoritative Saturn in Sagittarius, harshing Venus’ journey.
In the native homeland of Mars, Venus naturally has difficulty negotiating her travels. Furthering this unwelcome journey for our archetypal female energy, values, relationships, love and desires… In March Venus will turn retrograde at 13 Aries, have to journey all the way back 26 Pisces, where she is adored. However, only briefly will she linger in her domain of excellence as she will then turn direct and make her way back through Aries once more. Venus retrograde cycles last 40 days. A trying time ahead for Venusian matters.

But for now, a little respite under the balsamic moon today… La Luna is void of any light, she is dark and referred to as the witch’s moon. Intuition is increased and physical energy is decreased.

Also, In the middle of the night last night I woke with a wild brainstorm of an idea for a future mystical endeavor. As Mars enters Aries and the eclipse energy weaves in, I hope I can put some traction to it.
