Fire and passion.
Today and the next couple of days the Sun (life force energy, authority figures) trines (harmonic flow of energy) Mars (passion, drive, sex, archetypal male energy, weapons, machinery, grrr, get up and go). However, this coupling of energy is thrown off kilter by Uranus – our free radical.
The Sun is in Cancer, Cardinal Water. Uranus is in Aries, Cardinal Fire. As a result, Uranus is squaring our Sun. Something “out there” is putting up an unexpected (Uranus) roadblock (square) to us expressing who we are and just being ourselves (Sun).
At the same time, the same Uranus inconjuncts (the most difficult aspect – this involves always making adjustments, not ever finding common ground, a tiring effort) Mars.
Now, this Mars is a little different than the Mars of the last 2.5 weeks. This Mars is now moving ahead and today he picks up speed. He is not stewing on things anymore, Mars is ready to act. Mars also knows he is climbing back up all the ground he lost during the retrograde and he has to meet his maker, face his fate, own up to what has happened as he prepares to meet Saturn on the fixed star Antares before he leaves his retrograde zone in late August (8/24). This is a very big time and I would take many extra precautions for safety and keeping a lid on my trap a few days on either side of this date. This has the potential for being a very explosive time. 9-10 Sagittarius is the area where this occurs. Look in your chart to prep ahead of time for where in your life this energy will play out. Don’t forget to also look at 9-10 Gemini being pulled in by it’s polarity opposition.
Awareness is key and can help us avoid being sucked into the drama. Don’t let that Uranian radical throw you off your game – over the next few days, see if you can find ways to manifest the Uranian energy ahead of time – let your freak flag fly, do something different, wear some different clothes – put energy out there for it to feast on that manifests the energy in a way that works for you. Sometimes this works, and honestly – sometimes it doesn’t. Generally, more so than not – it does work…at least through all my years of journaling. It’s like giving a 2 year old 1 toy to play with rather than 50. The 2 year old will focus in (at least for some period of time) on the 1 toy, rather than getting distracted and overloaded with 50 of them and not knowing which to choose, the 2 year old just has a meltdown instead. Also, don’t forget to pull in that very helpful Mars energy. Some physical labor, hot sex, a nice car wash (mars = cars) and any way to embody archetypal male energy for yourself… all great ways to pull that Mars energy in, before it finds it’s own way to weedle through.
As you make your way through your daily day… because you are already aware of the Starry Wonder we are all experiencing, you will likely see this playing out in others who have no clue what is hitting them. They will be banging their head on the wall – why is this happening again, I didn’t expect this, this makes me so angry, I feel like I could explode, and the ever popular – WTF?!
Each of us may still experience this energy, but hopefully we can remember this post and that it is only temporary. This moment is not our entire life, this is just a moment in our life – but not the entirety of our life. As the aspect closes, a new one will begin to take shape and the energy will pass. A new Starry story will begin…
