Two new very important cycles begins today.

1 is Mercury. Mercury is our mind, communications, message, how we think, how we organize information, learning, knowing what’s going on, siblings, gossip, short trips around town, electronics, reading, writing and rules the lungs, arms and hands.

Annually, Mercury, our messenger conjuncts with the Sun a fee different times in a fee different ways.

Today, Mercury conjuncts the Sun at the Superior Conjunction. This sets Mercury up to then be the Scout. He goes on ahead of the Sun and seeks to lead the way, he is seeded with the Sun’s life force energy and sees the path out before him.

However this seeding happens only when Mercury moves from conjunct to Cazimi to combust. Cazimi is a beautiful place. Cazimi is in the heart of the king by translation. However combustion is when Mercury is less than 1 degree from the Sun. Here, the Sun’s rays overtake our messenger and he becomes a fried fritter for a short period of time. However then afterwards, when Mercury moves out of this area, he is more string than before because he becomes Scout.

The new Mercury cycle for the next year takes place at 15 Cancer (+\- 5 degrees). What house is this for you, any planets being aspected?

Here a new cycle of communicating, learning, information gathering and messaging begins, but only after our circuits get a bit overloaded and some kinks are flushed out.

This happens today. Is there anything on your mind you haven’t been able to purge out? Racing, anxious thoughts? Obsessions? This is great energy to purge that out productively. Write it down, communicate it out and as Mercury fries, may those negative thoughts fry and evaporate with it.

Be nice today… everyone is under this energy in some manner. There is a higher probability for short fuses, blown tempers, foot in mouth and technological issues.

Also, look to the houses in your chart ruled by Mercury which are Gemini and Virgo. Those affairs and any planets contained in those houses may feel fried today, tired, burnt out. Don’t be so hard on yourself if you are feeling like a slug today and tomorrow. Saturday this energy will be cleared out.
