Sun & Mercury conjunction

Burnt out, blurry, pierced and also…a particularly specific insight gained today.

Mercury, the planet of our thinking and communication forms a special conjunction with the Sun, the planet of our life force and life expression, today. Getting close to the Sun can be a dangerous place and we may find that our heads hurt, energy levels drained, short-circuited and the like. However, once Mercury eeks his way into the Sun’s goldilocks zone, there, a new cycle is born as the Su…n’s life-giving energy infuses our currently retrograding Mercurial messenger. A new insight, something pertinent re-examined, an “a-ha” moment as the two share this closely held space.

The pairing occurs in Capricorn, one of the 12 signs we each have in our Starry construct somewhere. Capricorn energy drives us to succeed, to make our own way, to create structure, define boundaries, to assert our authority and to go after what we want without our emotions getting in the way.

Today is a good day to “come down” from the holiday hustle and bustle, to enjoy some quiet and re-charge. Tomorrow, while under the New Moon, we may likely find is a very different kind of day as Uranus, the planet of chaos, eruptions and all things unexpected ends retrograding and begins to return to its normal pace.
