It’s an interesting time to start offering weekly forecasts. September 2020 is atypical, even for “2020.”. It isn’t always like this. September signals unusually fervent intensity, challenges and frustration. Within these circumstances we have immeasurable opportunity to see what we are made of, to learn what our limits are and to discern what is truly essential. The adage, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work” by Thomas A. Edison will be a helpful mantra.

Friction and conflict are where stars are born. In September, we will face seemingly insurmountable odds and, in that showdown, we may just find that we have a lot more grit than we give ourselves credit for.
