Today’s sweet Libra moon arrives in the balsamic phase, soon to become new once again this weekend.

The #balsamic phase is the moon’s last steps, before conjoining once again with the sun. Here, the moon is at its darkest, without hope or want for light.

The symbolism of a balsamic moon signals times in our lives when we are more apt to accept or “see” things for what they are, which is not always how we want them to be. We are urged to prepare those who will follow us with information, material items and such so that they can go on without our hand-holding. We are inclined toward pensive reflection and spiritual focus.

Quite simply, the balsamic moon is a letting go moon. It is a moon of acceptance, real understanding and of spiritual strength.

Each of us were born under one of the 8 moon phases. By way of the moon’s 28-day monthly cycle we do get a taste of them all each month. But, we are always at heart the phase we were born under, its pulls and pushes waxing and waning our life’s tides.

Lunar phases are one of my favorite classes to teach. They’re simple to pick up, but the depths are fathomless.
