Dec 2020 | Wk1 (12/1-12/5)
Tuesdsay, December 1 | A curious kick off to #december2020 it’s been. You’d be forgiven for thinking it was #mercuryretrograde again. Hasn’t it already been full of miscues, reschedules, miscommunications, headaches and open-mouth-insert-foot?
Mercury, our #trickster #storyteller just entered #sagittarius ♐️, the sign of its debility. Sagittarius, the zodiacal #landscape ruled by Jupiter, likes to be big, #wild and #free but little Mercury too quickly becomes overwhelmed in the enormity of Jupiter’s wide-eyed land.
We are realizing we need to get #organized and buckle down and regain control over our thoughts, plans and ideas. But first, all of those particulars fall out of control.
So spectacular is this #starrystory that on 11/30 we experience the #lunareclipse in #gemini . Gemini is ruled by Mercury. The next day, Mercury, while not eclipsed, becomes debilitated. Here we have a double whammy of Mercurial malaise.
While frustrating, hold fast. In this space we have the fine opportunity to reform and reframe. We always do when everything gets all mixed up. The storyline we are being signaled is to change it up, detach, get out of your own head.
When you return, you’ll find a bit of rearranging has taken place.
Enjoy this transient #madness and the tricksters knocking at your door. Soon, a wash of #austerity weaves in to color our journey’s ebbs and flows.

Saturday, December 5 | We spend Saturn's day under a Leo Moon. Leo Moons offer us vibes that tends towards lightheartedness, creativity, a desire to play, to romance and to soak in our own shine for a bit. We're inclined, under this disseminated-phased moon, to give our guidance and best help to others. It's the perfect day for passing down family recipes and holiday tips and tricks!
While there's grey skies overhead here in WNY, Crow Hill is abuzz in Leo-splendor as we enter our Tribal Xmas season. Annually, we kick off our family holiday season on 12/5; the night Krampus makes his rounds. Our Tribal festivities continue through Saturnalia and the Winter Solstice. It's a few weeks-long tradition of honoring ancestors, telling ghost stories, making homemade crafts and foods, delighting in some indulgency and welcoming the fresh spirit of the season. As the snow falls outside, annually at this time, Crow Hill warms and becomes most alive and brims with good delight.
While other times of the year are hallmarked as when the mystical and Spirit worlds draw close, for us, it is now. As the Sun wanes at its darkest traveling through the last half of Sagittarius, without fail, we experience the most heightened experiences of the year.
Shadows gather and play in the darkening din, annually decalcifying the encroachment of the mundane and its weary toil. A reminder for us all, bannered by today's Leo Moon; live. Live out to your edges while our lifebreath still fuels us.
