Nov 2020 | Wk1 (11/1-11/7)

Sunday, 11/1 - This week starts out with the Venus/Chiron opposition across Libra/Aries. Relationships take a hit. This aspect perfects while we are still under the recently fulled-moon in Taurus and as such, the air retains the lunation's signatures which includes the Moon/Uranus (unexpected) aspect. Something may pop out of the blue today that hits straight to the core of our Spirit and likely stems from relationships (Venus) in our lives. Chiron signals stories to us of experiences in our lives which never really quite heal. Keep an eye out for what comes to light today, it's not going to be resolved anytime soon.

Monday, 11/2 - By the day's end a particularly charged aspect culminate. The moon travels through Gemini and by the evening arrives at the degree of the soon-coming 11/30 lunar eclipse. Never trust an eclipse. Its energy is wildly unstable. Because the eclipse is so soon upon us, when other planets aspect its degree, its bell is rung and echoes permeate our spheres. While on a personal level, this coming lunar eclipse will ring with opportunities for changes in friend groups and rearranging social circumstances to remove toxicity, on a mundane level - this coming lunar eclipse likely yields collective shocks.

Briefly, the 11/30 lunar eclipse occurs in the first decan (ten degrees) of Gemini at the same degree as the Uranus placement in the USA's birthchart. We have a theme developing. The full moon this weekend was exact on Uranus. The lunar eclipse will be exact on the USA's Uranus. Simply put, Uranus is the unexpected, rebellion, awakening and anything that is different than from what is expected or the norm.

The Moon activates this Uranus and soon coming eclipse by the end of the day 11/2. Let's be on the lookout for its echo 11/2-11/3.

Also today, 11/2, Mercury spends its last full day in retrograde motion. Our astrological trickster spends the day spinning its wheels in a particularly hot spot (more in the 11/3 entry) in late Libra.

On a personal level, it's a fantastic time for those of us with creative stories and projects running through our thoughts and fingertips. To put it simply, now is an amazing time to roll out your weird for all to see.

Tuesday, 11/3 - This day is beyond full of significant astrology when comparing to the USA's chart. Of all days in 2020, it is election day these aspects culminate. #astrologyiseverywhere

The Moon which represents the mood, the people when read in conjunction with the chart of a country, continues through Gemini. Today, 11/3 - the Moon and the North Node meet exactly on the USA's Mars. While this aspect was in play last month, this month - it perfects. The Moon turns on the USA's Mars today and with it, the Dragon's Head (North Node) devours both of them.

At the same time, Mercury - which rules Gemini, is stationing direct today at 25 Libra and while so doing, the Trickster is in exact square to the USA's natal Mercury at 25 Cancer and in exact square to transiting Saturn at 25 Capricorn.

On a personal and mundane level, we are overwhelmed by messages. Messages changing, words changing, TMI, misunderstandings and stories coming out of the woodwork we never heard or knew before.

For all of our Gemini and Virgo placements, ruled by Mercury - do give yourself some space and media distance as you are particularly hit by this energy today. And if you can't, at least keep hydrated with water to help balance all the dry energy today.

Wednesday, 11/4 - The Mercury aspects still linger in the background as the day plays out. The palpable change is the Moon's entrance into Cancer today and being the day after the election; the Moon activates a number of the USA's personal placements - it's Venus/Jupiter conjunction first, then its Sun and Mercury by the next day. While we all can likely imagine 11/4 to be an emotional rollercoaster, be assured - the astrology supports that. Cancer is cardinal water, motivated by a need for security, safety, home, and having its family together and protected while also making space for the wistful history of the past.

11/5 ,11/6 and 11/7 - Four particularly important aspects are building towards perfecting soon.

Mercury (messenger/information) is beginning to inch forward again in its reclamation of time spent in retrograde. Personally, we may find particularly in relationships (Libra) we are able to finally get our messages across to one another, at least the first few steps towards it. The Moon particularly activates Mercury's story on 11/6 - be on the lookout for Mercurial trickstering today.

Mars is slowing down and stalling out at the degree of his soon-coming retrograde end in Aries. Our warrior's anger and frustration is focused on this exact point for about two weeks before he releases to finally move forward. Today, 11/5 the Moon in Cancer connects with this Mars by an exact square and lights up the warrior's current debilitated situation. Frustration litters the air. Particularly so for cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) placements. In our personal lives, giving this a place to focus can potentially help avert a crisis. Any opportunity to productively channel destruction and clearing in a focused area? I have a corner in my basement that is going to be in my sights for this.

While our warrior burns on this degree - Venus is waxing in opposition. Relationships peak with dramatic intensity, desires and conflict. This energy perfects at the beginning of next week, but is in place now while the aspect is waxing.

Lastly the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction is also waxing in the background and specifically relates to the story of the Pandemic. During the 1918 Pandemic, Jupiter and Pluto traveled together just as they are now, but in Capricorn's opposite sign - Cancer. As each wave peaked in 1918 - Jupiter/Pluto came together. The same has followed in 2020. We have one more peak now waxing strongly and yet to peak this month. The Moon lights up the Jupiter/Pluto pairing on 11/6 - particularly significant Pandemic news is likely to hit today/tomorrow.
