Nov 2020 | Wk2 (11/8-11/14)

Sunday, November 8 | What if I forgave myself? What if I forgave myself even though I’d done some things I shouldn’t have? What if I was sorry, but if I could go back in time I wouldn’t do anything different from what I’d done? What if yes was the right answer instead of no? What if all those things I shouldn’t have done were what got me here? What if I was never redeemed? What if I already was? | #CherylStrayed #BraveEnough

Two primary aspects color our day. The waxing Venus/Mars opposition (relationships) and Jupiter/Pluto conjunction (power struggles, economic volatility, self evaluation).

Both aspects ring with the flavor of being lost in a deep, dark place and finding angels in the wings.

We have alot more work to do in these matters. Mars is particularly consumed with potent ire and inward-turned anger.

None of us benefit from one of us self-destructing. Shred the fabric of stories we’ve told ourselves that no longer hold true.

Soon, we move forward. While we are forever changed by the shadows and darkness through which we’ve traveled, we may find ways to lighten their grip on our future motion and sights.

Opportunities for this shedding are arriving and leading us to decision and action points which are coming to our attention.

This is a great opportunity to shake off our own nonsense, to face the ugly, dark monsters under the bed and to get up and get moving.

The next two weeks is particularly full of facing the ugly and dark monsters and realizing our own storytelling has some level of F’d up BS in it...and that others do too.

By the end of November we make major breakthroughs on this and begin moving forward.

Monday, November 9 | The Mars/Venus opposition (Aries/Libra) perfects today across the cardinal axis of me and we. While the vibe fuels on push/pull energy it's a greatly fueled source of dynamic energy available for our good use. Mars/Venus dances signal storylines about relationships. Oppositions bring relationships to the forefront, out into the light, Currently, Venus has the upper hand as she is moving quicker and moving forward from Libra, the sign of her rulership. Her advantage wanes soon, as she enters Scorpio next week, the sign of her debility and must answer to Mars then.

Tuesday, November 10 | While the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction waxes yet in the background (see entry from Sunday 11/8), today's big movement is Mercury re-entering Scorpio. Here, Mercury enters the dominion of Mars and information, messages, data and news take on a different tone. Mars speaks through Mercury now. Mars, is currently spinning out in the same degree in mid Aries. Mars is at the bottom of his barrel and feeling particularly unhappy. Be on the lookout for changes in tone and information. Keep in mind as we will tend to embody this as well. This aspect is fruitful for digging in to find truth that's been buried or hidden.

Also, this is a fantastic time to pick up, or carry on with personal journaling! Mars speaking through Mercury is a passionate force for passionate word-making and for self reflection and evaluation. Write out anger, hurts, trauma. Write out pain and let those words burn the pages they sit on and let their passionate resonance remain with you, fueling your further excellence.

Wednesday, November 11 through Thursday, November 12 | The Moon is co-present with Venus in Libra on both these days. Venus, rules Libra and extends her good grace to the Moon during this passage. The Moon being our mood, we feel welcomed, offered safe haven and a sense that even if it's dark skies overhead, that we'll make it through, that fairness and equality will prevail. We look particularly so to the strength of significant Venus themes and placement in our lives for this good haven.

Recall, aspects with slower moving planets, while they perfect on certain days and at certain times, their stories are in play longer before and after due to their relative speed. On 11/12 and 11/13 we have two of 2020’s most epic astrological hits happening within hours of each other. Personally, I am particularly concerned about these aspects and what they might portend for our mundane world. From this week in 2020 and most significantly through till the very end of February 2021. It's a time full of old cycles ending, and rare new cycles beginning. Eclipses shake and rattle during these months and the USA’s astrological chart is squarely hit by many of the aspects.

Our dance with shadow-makers isn't yet done.

On Thursday, November 12 | The monumental hit, is that Jupiter conjoins Pluto in Capricorn for its third and final time and then begins to pass over it. This has been the epic aspect of 2020. Each of the three times, Jupiter/Pluto conjoin - the pair mirroring the spike in COVID cases. In 1918, Jupiter/Pluto had the same dance, in the polarity from where they sit now, Cancer. The same hits timed with the spikes and waves of the pandemic. Jupiter is the storyteller of making things big, spread and expand. Pluto is the storyteller of death, loss, destruction, power and manipulation.

May this final conjunction signal the beginning of the end of COVID. However, soon, Jupiter conjoins with another malefic (Saturn in December) and cycles of austerity and social restrictions follow where COVID leaves off.

Friday, November 13 | On Friday the 13th, Mars - our disgruntled and embattled, repressed, stuck at home, can't make any forward movement in his own homeland, war-monger finally stations direct in mid Aries. Mars has been stuck in reverse, antithetical to his nature and he's been burning up. Now released to move forward, Mars has alot of ground to make up and he's going to be on fire while he does it.

As Mars stations direct, the Moon and Mercury immediately fall into his sights as the two are paired in Scorpio watching the warrior wake. The Sun too in Scorpio begins to quake with the rattle of war under Mars' direction change.

In our personal worlds, we must recall that astrology is always in context. Think of the imagery here. Mars, a planet that wants to rip and tear is coming alive in his home land of Aries. He is hot, firey and wants to clear a path forward and divide one into two. How can this be useful?

Got wood?

This is not only a great time of year for making sure woodpiles are up to date, but great astrological weather for it. Moon/Mercury's role? Get the kids out there and put them to work.

This is just an example to help get you thinking in these terms^

Mars is inflammation, stings, cuts, gashes, accidents with machinery. Do take particular care during this time when Mars is first getting his legs up from under him. He's been bound up for an unusually long time and won't be able to stand right at first. As such, we could think of Mars as a wounded and very angry wild animal. Take extra care and caution with sharp objects and dangerous machinery.
