Nov 2020 | Wk4 (11/22-11/28)

Sunday, November 22 | We undergo one of the most reliably stark shifts in annual energy transformations as the Sun disembarks from the dark trenches of Scorpio and out into the well-lit lands of Sagittarius. Where the Sun goes, our energy investments follow. The Sun’s entrance in and out of signs and houses in our charts activates, animates and magnetizes those life experiences for the period of time it shines in those 30 degrees. Wherever we have Sagittarius in our chart (and, we all do) we typically tend to be more outgoing, open minded, blunt, adventurous, athletic, funny and our own kind of someone.

The Sun’s annual entrance into Sagittarius renews an internal need for a quest, a mission. We have stronger needs for gatherings and enjoyment and for connecting with those who are usually at a distance. Travel and foreign culture is a hallmark for Sagittarius. In travel there is great healing, of which we have limited access to these days. In travel, we learn how “they” are a lot like “us” and humanizes the far off to us. We become connected to that place, to those people and that experience. Our spirits entangle with its reality and our widened awareness creates greater space for compassion and empathy. No longer are “they” separate from “me;” all that remains is “we.” While we currently have limited ability for widespread travel (South Node in Sagittarius), the internal prompting for a healing quest or a mission remains.

The healing in Sagittarius is mirrored in the constellation of the healer, dominating these 30 degrees of the zodiac. This ever-transforming fiery landscape of the archer offers us the vibe for untanglement, drying out, burning up, letting go, dissolution and leveling. Prompted by Jupiter’s mutable flames we literally lighten up in Sagittarius and in that lightening, we find space to burn away the unnecessary and heal the essentials.

Monday, November 23 | The Moon in Pisces conjoins with Neptune during the midday (EST) hours and our workdays may tend to be a blur and comprised of confusion. For the creatives among us, noon time is peak time for this aspect’s available potency.

Tuesday, November 24 | The Moon enters cardinal sign, Aries and becomes ruled by Mars – who today finally makes advancement! We may tend towards experiences mirroring this motion. Something we’ve been trying and trying at to no great avail and finally, it is beginning to take shape or move forward.

Wednesday, November 25 | The Moon, still in Aries conjoins the freshly moving warrior today during our midday timeframe (EST) and we will tend to find ourselves at best busy, but also likely subject to the whims of frenetics, charged emotions and busy movement and travel (Mars is cars).

Mercury also enters the last decan (10 degrees) of Scorpio today. Here, Mercury loses much of its innate cleverness to the darkened depths and recesses of the Scorpion’s stilled waters. Be on the lookout for being overwhelmed, or lost in overthinking. Where possible, lean into the activated Moon in Aries and follow your intuition instead.

Thursday, November 26 | The Moon spends most of the day in Aries and just before midnight, enters Taurus. Leftovers tomorrow are going to be amazing - but before they become leftovers, they have to be prepared.

Moon in Aries together with Mars? Keep an eye on the stove! Food and desserts will tend towards burning and being dry. Keep a close eye and use a wink more liquid in any of your recipes.

Venus in Scorpio waxes in her opposition to Uranus in Taurus all day offering good space for the unusual and non-traditional.

Friday, November 27 | The Moon enjoys her exaltation all day in Taurus and Venus/Uranus go at it some more. It’s a great day to be off from work and feast, be creative and let the muse drive your day. The Moon towards evening conjoins Uranus and also activates the Venus/Uranus dynamic. Maybe an unplanned get together, date, creative event or indulgence.

Saturday, November 28 | The Moon continues its journey through Taurus and we are likely to experience a sort of hangover, whether its actual or emotional. Today is a vibe of listing, stationing and being at the edge of something.

Near midnight, Mercury’s waxing opposition to famed fixed star Algol in Taurus perfects. A late night intensity, ritual, or power-source seeking is in the air, perhaps a nightmare or two as well.
