Nov 2020 | Wk3 (11/15-11/21)
During Nov 2020 Week 3 - we certainly have specific aspects and transits perfecting each day, but we are more so, laden with longer standing cycles that are waxing and building, or recently perfected and still within orb of influence. All of these aspects are with us each day as this week progresses.
Eclipse cycle - we are in the eclipse cycle now. It weaves in each day now as the waxing aspect builds within this current lunar cycle. This eclipse particularly impacts Gemini/Sagittarius. See my earlier post on the 11/30 lunar eclipse and how this directly impacts the USA's natal chart.
Mars stationing direct - Also, we remain stuck in the Mars station all this week as Mars grinds and grinds in the 16th degree of Aries, getting his legs up under him. See my earlier posts on this aspect and how it remains with us in stationing through next week and then, begins moving forward.
Mercury direct, but not out of retrograde shadow yet - Mercury continues to climb back up and out of its retrograde fall. See earlier posts on this specific retrograde cycle. All this week, Mercury continues to climb and, within the daily posts below - I detail out some of the new, specific events.
Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn - This aspect perfected 11/12, but continues to influence current events all of this week. See earlier posts for more details.
Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius - This aspect is now waxing without interference from Pluto and will perfect on 12/21/20. This aspect is a monumental shift for our astrological landscape. Our time-marking Titans, Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (restriction) come together in the cold, dry, fixed sign of Aquarius; Saturn's rulership. See earlier posts on this aspect. More posts to come yet.
Sunday, November 15 | Today starts out more intense than it ends. We begin under the Moon's remaining sojourn in its fallen debility of Scorpio (see earlier post on the 11/14 New Moon in Scorpio) and end the day with the Moon lightening up a bit, entering Sagittarius. Under the rulership of our benefactor Jupiter, the Moon unfurls a little bit and with that so does our tension by the day's end.
Midday, the Venus/Pluto square perfects from the 23rd degree of Libra to Capricorn. Relationships and those we hold dear face an intensity of sorts as the midday arrives. A tunneling, a look into the void. And almost as quickly as the darkness arises, or the obsession takes hold, an indulgence, or otherwise relief sweeps in to help soothe the clenched jaws and tightened necks as Venus swiftly moves on and connects to Jupiter by square.
This afternoon is made picture perfect by escaping into some tasty treats and a movie or book that lifts you up into a far away land. Enjoy!
Monday, November 16 | Most aspects remain in place and only our fast moving Moon makes any changes, continuing through Sagittarius. This is a good days to catch up and keep a steady pace of things, whatever our pace may be.
Tuesday, November 17 | Our day’s journey is punctuated by the Epic Mercury/Uranus opposition. While still within its retrograde shadow, Mercury has climbed back up through Scorpio and today, perfects its head on opposition to Uranus in Taurus. This occurs within the 9th degree of both these fixed signs.
We’ve been here before. Look back to Early October (6-7) and Middish October (18-19). The Mercury/Uranus opposition occurred within about the same degree.
In simple summary -
Mercury is: messages, information, communication, short-tripped travel, siblings and technology
While
Uranus is: the unexpected, chaos, creativity, disorder, brilliance, rebellion, a-ha moments, disruptive and shocking events
Add the Mercury retrograde twist to this for a healthy dose of having to keep circling back to something, working and reworking, discussing, re-discussing and getting shocked, surprised, blown away each time you circle nearer to it (whatever “it” is for your experience).
While in Mars-ruled Scorpio, Mercury becomes Mars’ advocate. Our messenger speaks as the strings are puppeted by our stationing direct and still stuck in the same degree, Mars. This is a Mars who is tired of being stuck, being in his home (Aries) and not being able to do what he wants. He feels close to the finish line and is more than ready to do what Mars does best - rip and tear, and divide one into two. Mercury takes on these tones when confronting Uranus.
Be on the lookout for shocking messages, brilliant insights, heightened focus on creative problem solving, critical thinking and charged dialogues today.
Wednesday, November 18 | The dynamics wrench up again. Today, the Sun in Scorpio makes its annual opposition to the famed fixed star - Algol. The demon-headed blinking star in Taurus has a reputation for provocation of numerous significant events. Be on the lookout today for a light to be shined on an ill-repute.
Thursday, November 19 | The detrimented Moon (our mood) is bantered about today by closely aspecting multiple planets. It's at least a busy day, if not, a challenging one. The Moon in the very early morning/overnight hours conjoins malefic Pluto (wake up from a nightmare?), then very quickly after conjoins benefic Jupiter (the best cup of coffee you've ever had?), then, all morning tangles extremely tightly with malefic Saturn, benefic Venus and the Sun. The four are locked in a tight interplay. A conflict or challenge is at hand, being at odds in a relationship, or with an authority figure and likely, someone from the sidelines giving you some backstage support. It's a day and particularly on the East Coast, a morning ripe for power plays and control dramas. By afternoon this frenetic dynamic rapidly quells. Might be a good day to call off for the afternoon and relax.
Mercury exits its retrograde shadow zone today. Clarity regarding what this retrograde cycle has stirred up becomes plain to see.
Friday, November 20 | Moon enters Aquarius and squares Uranus in Taurus giving the morning a bit of a unique and unexpected, likely creative lift.
Saturday, November 21 | We have multiple aspects in play today. Don't plan on this being a lackluster weekend. First, Venus falls into her debility of Scorpio. Then, the Sun enters Sagittarius and by the end of the night, the Moon begins its 1st quarter phase.
Venus's change, signals to us a temperature change in our relationships, our ability to connect with each other and the day-to-day vibe for women, in particular. Scorpio, by traditional astrology, is ruled by Mars. Here, in the homeland of the warrior, still stationing direct, Venus becomes a part of the Mars-ruled landscape.
The 1st quarter moon signals a crisis, roadblock or at least, time to evaluate and decide something. Recall, all roads in this lunar cycle lead to the full moon eclipse on 11/30. This weekend is another milestone towards the shakeup. Be on the continued lookout for curious synchronicity and heightened intuition, dreams and weirdness weaving in and out of your journey.
