Moon in Scorpio - The week starts as the Moon enters Scorpio, squares Uranus in Taurus and shortly after, Venus in Leo. quickly following, the Moon trines Neptune in Pisces. On 9/21, the Moon enters its waxing crescent phase in Sagittarius and lays fairly low until late on 9/22, when the firey Moon kicks up a series of aspects

Sun enters Libra – on 9/22, the Sun rises in Virgo for the last time and soon after sunrise, enters Libra, the sign of its debility. This fall from grace transcends from the Sun, to the house and any planets we have in our charts, in Leo. The light goes out and darkness begins to mark its return. The Sun and Venus draw close to one another as they exchange mutual receptions. Libra, ruled by Venus, yields a backdrop of intending to balance, to advocate and allocate reasonably. In Libra, we filter out, we weigh our options, we measure our words. We inwardly discern and evaluate ways in which we might restore balance within and without.

At this same time, the Moon in its waxing crescent phase in Sagittarius, kicks up a fire trine to Venus in Leo and a square to Neptune in Pisces. The Moon quickly then conjoins the South Node in Sagittarius and connects both Luna and the Dragon’s tail to Mars rx in Aries. While the our material pursuit focus dims just a bit, a swirl of activity swells around and within our emotions and relationships during this week.

First Quarter Moon – Late in the day on 9/23, the Moon enters the Cardinal sign of Capricorn and nearly immediately arrives at her First Quarter Moon point, challenging the Libra Sun from 2 degrees Capricorn. While in Capricorn, the Cardinal knot tightens once again with emphasis from late in the day on 9/24 through early 9/26. During this time, the Moon conjoins with Jupiter, then Pluto, then Saturn all in Capricorn. Then, the Moon in quick pace, squares Mars rx in Aries and then Mercury at the very end of Libra.

Echo degrees/Mercury Retrograde – While the Moon moves through its First Quarter phase, on 9/24, a Cardinal-based opposition perfects between Mercury in Libra to Mars rx in Aries at the 26th degree. This is the degree of the upcoming Mercury retrograde shadow and we should pay particular attention to what comes to our attention during this time as it will surely echo more loudly during the soon-coming Mercury retrograde.

Closing out the 4th week - on 9/26, when the Moon exits Capricorn and enters Aquarius it will immediately enter the degree of the forthcoming generational astrological change in December 2020. Be on the lookout for themes and news that comes into your awareness during this time.

Mercury in Libra Decan 3– Mercury travels through the last 10 degrees of Libra all this week and is a place where it has certain additional powers and strengths that we can take advantage of. During this time frame Mercury will be running the Cardinal sign gauntlet and squaring or opposing malefics. Our minds, our heads, our brains will tend to feel maxed out, stressed and at the very least, extraordinarily busy and challenged.
